Instructors Anne Heiermann & Kari Hyytinen
Anne and Kari are licensed teachers of International Standard and Latin, as well as in American Style Smooth and Rhythm. For Thirty Years they have been competitive partners in both Latin and Standard. Winning championships in Finland, Sweden, Italy and England. In the US they were the finalist in most of the major competitions: California Star Ball, Ohio Star Ball, Emerald Ball, Imperial Star Ball etc.. Silver Medallists at the 1996 Fred Astaire National Championships. Anne has an undergraduate study in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences, and both Kari and Anne hold certificates from the Finnish National Council in sports psychology, pedagogy, and dance training . Kari and Anne have over 30 years of teaching experience. Anne and Kari have also been teaching Ballroom Dancing the last 4 years Framingham Middle Schools 4th and 5th grades (200 kids in program).

We offer quality, personalized instruction in a warm, nurturing atmosphere. All children’s classes are taught by Anne Heiermann, an instructor with a Master’s in Early Childhood Education, and over 30 years experience teaching children and adults.
At DANE, we will help your child learn new skills and dance techniques,
while never forgetting that dance is a joyous, creative process.
